What happens when you don’t just look at history, but step right into the middle of it?

At Museumpark VONK, you can experience 10,000 years of history. You’ll hear, see, discover and get involved – from the first hunter-gatherers to the Eindhoven of today.

As you enter, the sounds of the introductory show ‘Journey Through Time’ transport you to other eras. Moments later, you’ll find yourself face to face with the stories of Eindhoven in the ‘Cabinet of Insight’. Who lived here? How did they live? And what has changed over the centuries?

Then it’s your turn to get involved. In the ‘Workshop of Imagination’, you’ll work alongside other visitors to create a new ‘spark’. This isn’t just an exhibition to look at, but an interactive installation that your contribution will become part of. Join in and add your own piece to history! Eventually, the ‘spark’ will find a home in the ‘Garden of Wonder’.

And then: back to the past. In the World of Experience, formerly known as the Prehistoric Village, you’ll stroll through historic farmsteads and meet some residents from different eras. Lend a hand, try something new and discover what it’s like to bake bread, grind grain, paddle a log canoe or throw a spear.
