A number of accessible nature trails have been specially developed for electric all-terrain wheelchairs around the accessible NatureGate TerSpegelt. The routes have been carefully designed and are easy to navigate, allowing users to enjoy the natural surroundings of the Brabantse Kempen independently and in comfort.
One of the routes is the easy-access ‘Accessible Stroll’ near the GnomePath, perfect for getting familiar with the trikes and the surroundings at a relaxed pace. Guests can also choose the 3-kilometre blue route, the ‘Bosbessen en Heidewandeling’, which takes you along woodland paths and beautiful heathland. In autumn, the 5-kilometre yellow route, the ‘Spijkerste Heidewandeling’, will also be added. If certain parts of the blue route feel a little challenging, you can always follow the adjacent cycle path instead.
Would you prefer not to head straight into the woods just yet? You’re also very welcome to explore TerSpegelt itself first. The park offers a pleasant and familiar setting with flat paths, ideal for getting used to the trikes at your own pace, followed by a relaxing drink on the terrace at beach pavilion De Wijde Blick or De Keizer eating & drinking.
